Intro to Investing
Designed to move the mental blocks/ barriers to investing.
Busting the myths such as – you need to have a lot of money to invest, I’ll lose my money, investing in complex and requires expert advice. In this session I explore the foundations of share investing to guide participants to determine whether shares/ property are an appropriate strategy to consider as part of their wealth plan. I share step-by-step actions to select a broker, introduce ETFs (exchange traded funds) and provide resources such books, podcasts and research frameworks/templates that are simple and easy to action. Demonstrating that we are already investors through our super, and that you can start investing small – with as little as $5.
Also covered are risks vs returns and the importance of appropriate timeframes for any type of investing. Followed by Q&A to ensure no matter what level of investing your audience is at, that they receive valuable takeaway tips and knowledge.
